  The food, atmosphere and the ocean view, perfect.
  However, we were with another couple. Asked for separate checks, OK. Our orders for drinks, food, and dessert all came out disjointed. We were eating in front of our friends. We had a feeling that our waiter knew the flow wasn't going well. So, I got the b day Hula Pie, while our friends sat and waited for her lemon tart. Our waiter comped the lemon tart.
  And was apologetic. Might have been a bad day for the kitchen and bar, it was busy. But this was a first for us as the many times we have been there before.
  Things do go wrong...And just can't catch up.

  While you eat their fabulous food, you also get a beautiful view of the ocean. In the day time, you'll see surfers enjoying the waves. It's a very relaxing atmosphere while dining.

  The friend with me liked Jakes better than I did. I thought it was too loud. The food was pears in unique ways that didn't suite my preferences. Others liked theirs very well, though. The view of the ocean is wonderful.

  Great service and great food. I had a steak cooked perfectly and my wife had a delicious fish dish. View was amazing. Great place for sunset dinners.
